Beauly Gala week 2011 Events

 

Sunday 10th July

  • Opening ceremony, Crowning of the Gala Queen and princesses, dog agility display and pet parade prizes for waggiest tail, best groomed and most like owner. starts 3pm at Braeview Park.

 

Monday 11th July

  • Senior Citizens Evening; soup sandwiches and home baking with music from Tony Jankowski 6pm-8pm in the British Legion Beauly

 

Tuesday 12th July

  • Teddy Bears Picnic including best dressed teddy, bubbles the clown, games and refreshments bring your own picnic. Meeting at the cnoc na rath enterance on croyard road then on to Braeview park 11am-2pm
  • Kids under 16 disco in the Phipps Hall Beauly 7pm-9pm £3.50 per child Adult supervision required.

 

Wednesday 13th July

  • Kids Crafts £3 per ticket £2 extra if you want to make a teddy (limited stock allocated on a first come basis) 2pm-3pm Phipps Hall Beauly
  • Car treasure Hunt 7pm Braeview Park Beauly
  • Gala Bingo cash prizes and raffle 7pm British Legion Beauly

 

Thursday 14th July

  • Mini sports under 8s 11.30-1.00 Phipps Hall Beauly - £4.00 per child
  • Mini sports ages 8-12 1.30-3.00 Phipps Hall Beauly - £4.00 per child
  • Tea Dance 2pm - 4pm British Legion - £5 per person including refreshments and home baking
  • Fancy dress parade age groups under 5s under 8s and over 8s 7pm The Square Beauly
  • Highland Dancing and pipe band 7.30pm The Square Beauly

 

Friday 15th July

  • Gala Pairs Round Robin Tournament 10am-4pm Beauly Bowling Pavilion behind Phipps Hall
  • Chicks n Flicks Moulin Rouge pre movie cocktails and nibbles 7.30pm Phipps Hall Beauly £10 per ticket includes 2 cocktails and nibbles

 

Saturday 16th July

  • 10:30am-12pm kids shinty tournament Braeview Park
  • 10:30am-12pm Car Boot Sale cars £5 traders £8
  • 12pm-4pm Gala Family Fun day, stalls, music, bouncy castles, facepainting, baking competition, recipe swap tent, beer tent and much more. to take place on the grass area outside the Old Priory just off the main Square.
  • 7pm-11.30 Phipps Hall Gala Finale Barn Dance BYOB £10 per ticket music from The Jacks.

 

Sunday 17th July

  • Pool Competition 2pm Lovat Arms Hotel.
